Top 3 WordPress Hosting Companies
Although I’ve tried several WordPress Hosting Companies, I have some clear favorites based on their pricing and features. Of course, your host selection will be dictated by a number of factors, including pricing, needs and preferences.

WP Engine costs $25 per month.
Shortly after my blog went viral in March 2016, I realized I just didn’t have the technical know-how to keep a popular site alive and online. I was so frustrated by GoDaddy always trying to upsell me on tech support that I decided to make a switch.
I fell in love with WP Engine immediately and I’ve been using this company for hosting ever since. In addition to the best hosting experience I’ve ever had, WP Engine also includes the following:
- Free 24/7 support
- Free SSL
- Free Genesis Framework access
- Free page performance analysis
- Free automated site migration (if you have an existing site elsewhere)
The best part? If you aren’t totally thrilled with WP Engine, they give you 60 days to cancel and get all your fees refunded. No joke!
Signing up for WP Engine was the best move I ever made for my niche blog. I cannot recommend this service enough.
Never Use GoDaddy!!!
There are many WordPress hosting companies to choose from but you should NEVER use GoDaddy! I learned this the hard way when my first website went viral. GoDaddy sold my contact information to everyone. I received automated calls and text messages around the clock. I changed my phone number and switched to a different host in order to escape the never-ending flood of solicitation I was experiencing.
Once you make a decision, simply follow the instructions to set up your website!
Now, I fully admit that I am rubbish at the technical side of blogging. That’s why I rely on WP Engine! They provide clear instructions on how to set up your install, configure your DNS settings and do all of the things necessary to get your website up and running. Whenever I have a problem, I’m assisted by their excellent 24/7 chat support.
The setup process varies by hosting company. At this point, you will need to rely on the tutorials provided by the company you choose. Each of these wonderful hosts I’ve recommended should guide you through the process of setting up your hosting, configuring your DNS settings for your domain and installing WordPress.
